Air from the air compressor flows into the pressure air tank and is drawn into the dissolved‑air tank via an ejector device. At a working pressure of 0.35 MPa, air is fully dissolved in water to produce saturated dissolved‑air water, which is then delivered to the flotation tank.
When the pressurized water enters the tank and pressure drops sharply, dissolved air escapes and forms dense groups of fine micro‑bubbles. Prior to this step, raw wastewater goes through chemical dosing and flocculation; pumps feed the conditioned water carrying flocculated suspended solids into the unit. Rising micro‑bubbles attach firmly to these flocs, lowering their overall density so pollutants float upward to the water surface. In this way, the system efficiently removes suspended solids (SS), CODcr and other impurities from wastewater.

Exterior Structure
The whole‑set DAF system adopts robust carbon‑steel main‑body structure. For anti‑corrosion performance, two protective surface treatments are optional: epoxy anti‑corrosive painting or fiberglass coating. These treatments effectively defend against erosion from various industrial wastewater, extend equipment service life and reduce daily maintenance workload under long‑term wastewater pretreatment working conditions.
Internal Configuration
Equipped with dry‑powder feeding unit and complete automatic control system inside the equipment. The system enables real‑time adjustment of chemical dosing volume and precise control of prepared liquid concentration. Stable and accurate chemical addition guarantees ideal flocculation effect, which lays solid foundation for subsequent micro‑bubble solid‑liquid separation and pollutants removal in dissolved air flotation process.
