On July 11, 2025, Qingdao Yimei Environmental Engineering Co., Ltd. announced that a fully integrated containerized integrated sewage treatment equipment with a processing capacity of 100 cubic meters per day has been successfully dispatched to Spain, a European country with strict environmental protection standards. This equipment will be applied in Spanish food processing plants, providing a compact wastewater treatment and resource utilization solution from influent to sludge discharge that meets the high standards of the European Union.
Core process and full-process technological advantages:
1. High-efficiency pretreatment unit
Intelligent dosing system: The equipment integrates advanced dosing devices, which can precisely add chemical agents such as flocculants, phosphorus removal agents, and disinfectants. It effectively responds to fluctuations in influent water quality, enhances coagulation, phosphorus removal, and disinfection effects, and ensures the stable operation and high efficiency of subsequent biological treatment units.
Screw press sludge dewatering machine: Equipped with a fully automatic screw press sludge dewatering machine, it efficiently concentrates and dewatering the excess sludge produced by the system. This equipment operates continuously and stably, with low energy consumption, small footprint, and a high degree of automation. After dewatering, the moisture content of the sludge is significantly reduced (it can be lowered to about 80%), greatly simplifying the sludge disposal process, reducing the amount of transportation and disposal costs, and meeting the strict sludge management requirements of Spain.
2. Mature biological nitrogen and phosphorus removal process (AO) : After pretreatment, the wastewater enters the core biological treatment section, which includes the high-efficiency Anoxic Tank (Anoxic Tank), Anaerobic Tank (Anaerobic tank), and Aerobic tank (Aerobic Tank), forming the classic AO (anoxic-oxic) process chain. This design ensures efficient degradation of organic pollutants (COD/BOD) and deep simultaneous removal of nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) nutrients.
3. Biofilm Enhancement Technology (MBBR) : In the aerobic treatment section, the MBBR (Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor) technology is innovatively applied. The high specific surface area suspended biological carrier filler significantly increases the biomass and activity within the system, endowing the equipment with outstanding treatment efficiency, excellent resistance to shock loads, and the ability to achieve high-load treatment in an extremely compact space.
4. Membrane-based fine treatment to ensure water quality (MBR) : An MBR (Membrane Bioreactor) membrane separation unit is configured at the end. Ultrafiltration membranes efficiently separate activated sludge from purified water, resulting in clear and transparent effluent with suspended solids (SS) close to zero and extremely high removal rates of bacteria and viruses. The water quality of the produced water is stably up to high standards and can be directly and safely reused for landscape irrigation, flushing, etc., significantly improving the utilization rate of water resources.
5. Innovative containerized full-process integrated design: From pretreatment (dosing + sludge dewatering) to core biological treatment (AO+MBBR+MBR), the entire process is highly integrated within a standard containerized shell, with significant advantages
Sludge treatment closed-loop: The excess sludge generated by the system is effectively reduced in volume and dehydrated by the screw press dewatering machine, forming a low-moisture content sludge cake, which is convenient for transportation and compliant disposal. This realizes the closed-loop management of sludge in the sewage treatment process and is more environmentally friendly.
