Process Design:
A complete process is recommended, consisting of "Pretreatment → Anaerobic Digestion (for biogas production) → Electrocoagulation → MBBR → Advanced Treatment (e.g., Ultrafiltration/Reverse Osmosis)."
Placing the electrocoagulation unit after anaerobic digestion effectively removes residual refractory organic matter and color, creating optimal conditions for the subsequent aerobic MBBR process.

Parameter Optimization:
Key parameters in the electrocoagulation stage, such as current density, reaction time, and electrode materials (e.g., iron-carbon electrodes), should be determined through experiments to achieve the best balance between treatment efficiency and energy consumption.
For the MBBR stage, attention should be paid to the filler packing ratio, hydraulic retention time (HRT), and dissolved oxygen (DO) control.

Resource Recovery Focus:
Emphasis must be placed on the collection and utilization of biogas, which can not only offset part of the energy consumption but also generate economic benefits.
Additionally, the final effluent should be prioritized for reuse in production processes (e.g., irrigation, cleaning) to achieve circular water resource management.
